Why did you choose Drew?

I felt like it gave me the best chance to have unique and genuine experiences. It gave me the best chance to find myself and what I want to do, instead of being forced by someone else.

 

If you had to choose a favorite activity/experience at Drew, what would it be and why?

Being a part of ASB and planning the 415 Festival. The whole community came together to support each other and the school, and being a part of that felt truly special. Moreover, I gained many new friendships and learned a lot about so many different people during the event.

 

What is one of your favorite classes?

20th Century World History (debates, discussions, memos) or Physics Honors (labs, problems, teaching style).

 

How do you think you have changed since starting at Drew and what do you think Drew had to do with that change?

I think I’ve become a much stronger, more confident, and better person. I’ve grown as a leader, as a speaker, and a learner. I think that the leadership program at Drew has been an instrumental part of that.

 

What do you feel your biggest accomplishment has been at Drew?

Continuing and expanding the Student Cafe. It’s been a huge part of the community for the past three years and I can see all the impact it has had on people, especially by covering the cost of prom tickets.

 

What is a core Drew memory you want to share?

The night before the 415, I was leading everyone who was staying late to decorate, and we were all having an incredible time. I think that the trust that Drew placed in me and the community that I felt in that moment was truly amazing.
