Why did you choose Drew?

Drew offered not only opportunities to explore my own academic interests through an interactive and powerful curriculum, but also a unique opportunity to explore myself through experiential learning and special activities and teams, all while having a constant support team with not only the faculty but other students as well.

What was one of your favorite classes?

Intro to Law, because we got to put ourselves in the place of lawyers during different time periods, rewriting entire constitutional amendments to clear up discrepancies they caused throughout history.

How do you think you changed since starting at Drew and what do you think Drew had to do with that change?

I feel more comfortable going out of my comfort zone. I am willing to engage with different people and understand their unique perspectives. Drew has allowed me to engage in these conversations in a safe way and has prepared me for similar experiences throughout my life.

What are your plans post-Drew?

I went to college - University of Oregon - under a Pre-Law major, and ultimately will attend law school and then become an immigration attorney.
